Immediacy in Implant Therapy

Course Description:

In this module, Dr. Ricardo Mitrani reviews the concept of immediacy in implant therapy. The concept of immediate loading implants is hardly new, it has been around for over 20 years, and thousands of scientific articles support the feasibility of the technique. Nonetheless, there are important precautions that the treating team should agree upon to ensure a smooth and uneventful outcome.

2. Describe the communication process with the patient
3. Discuss the step-by-step surgical/restorative protocols
4. Relate a linear thought process that allows the team to obtain consistent results

Dr. Mitrani has authored many scientific articles and chapters in textbooks on implant prosthodontics and esthetic dentistry.
