Failed Implant in the Esthetic Zone

Course Description:

Jeanette is a 62 y/o woman with a chief complaint of “my implant is failing and I want it fixed. It is uncomfortable and ugly”. The implant was placed and restored about two years prior to her initial exam. Shortly after the restoration was placed she noticed bleeding and swelling and the tissue started to recede. The tissue recession left the platform and eventually the implant threads exposed.
